Hey PJ! You are doing such a great job of posting these oldies. Very Happy I keep saying I am going to make a comeback and I will sometime soon, but I thought I would drop by the forum for a few minutes and let people know I have not dispappeared. When Youtube started and until about 3 years or so ago, I felt like I was keeping up with a big percentage of the GirlSingers. Now though, there are so many, and even much more of these oldies, I cannot even consider trying to keep up with it all. I would have to be retired and spend 8 hours a day doing that. Oh well. Need to get back into it some though. I still really enjoy it when I find the time. Thanks again for really bringing this thread I created many years ago to life.

Olga Rozhdestvenskaya (b.1969) is a true Soviet 'unknown celebrity'.
Born into an artistic family (her mother was a singer, and her father a drummer), she debuted as a child singer in 1977, in one of the most well-known Soviet movies titled 'About the Little Red Riding Hood' / 'Про Красную Шапочку'.

Her first (& her biggest) success:
Olga Rozhdestvenskaya - If You Keep Going [Little Red Riding Hood's Song]

...and one more thing:
Olga Rozhdestvenskaya - An Uninhabited Island

Olga's singing didn't make her a household name (many people still think it was Yana Poplavskaya - a true child star of Soviet cinema - who sang for this movie, while she only played the title role), but her way to the industry was wide-open. Before getting adult, she gave her voice to a number of movies and animated cartoons.

Olga Rozhdestvenskaya - Come to Visit Us [Come, Fairytale] (from 'There, On Unknown Ways' / 'Там, на неведомых дорожках' (1982)

Olga Rozhdestvenskaya - The Girl and the Dolphin / Девочка и дельфин (1979, animated cartoon, main theme song)

Olga Rozhdestvenskaya & Dobry Molodtzy - Snowflake
(from 'Charodei'/'The Magicians', 1982)

Olga Rozhdestvenskaya - 3 White Horses (from 'Charodei'/The Magicians, 1982)

Olga Rozhdestvenskaya - The Game [A vocalise theme from 'The Moustached Nurse' / 'Усатый нянь'] (1977, audio only)

Unfortunately, it was only once that she appeared as a child actress. In 1979, she played the title role in an obscure children's TV movie titled 'I'm Composing a Song' / 'Я придумываю песню'. She also sang some songs for it:

Olga Rozhdestvenskaya - I'm Composing a Song

Olga Rozhdestvenskaya - Riddles

Like her mother, Olga became a professional singer when she grew up. She provided her singing voice for a number of Russian movies and TV commercials. Not a brilliant career, but still a good one.

An old Japanese song

Unfortunately I'm unable to get any info about this song and/or the singers.
Btw, the original description looks like the following:
お友達がほしい
and
「お友達がほしい」ビッグマンモスの少女版のレディーバッグ。
I copied it but I can't read it. Any help will be very much appreciated.
