It has been awhile since I started a new thread, so I am going to make a step of faith in creating one for Maddi Jane. She is a new discovery and only has three simple videos on Youtube so far, but I am predicting some really good output from her in the next coming year or so. Don´t know so much about her yet, and I do not have alot of time, so I will just post her three videos and give a couple websites and one from the Ellen Show. I will back with more later after I have more time to gather more on her. Just wanted to see what you guys think.

Hey Rakugaki! You must have been in a hurry looking at the videos. The names of the original group or singer is in the title. You can´t quite see it in the first one unless you click to go to Youtube. The first video is the song Breakeven, which is a favorite song for me from the past year by The Script. The other two I did not reallly know until I saw Maddi Jane singing them. She is sooooooooo good. I am expecting great things.

I like her. Her little sister is so cute and she's pretty. I thought she was half Asian until I saw her parents! Anyway I only watched the Ellen one but her voice wasn't really great in it. But I still like her.

The Impossible song is a cover by Shontelle. It says so in the title. For all three songs, it says who the original is by in the title.

As we all were not paying close attention, Maddi Jane has been moving forward fast. She is like a seaoned professional now. This could have gone in the One Day/One Clip thread, but since Maddi Jane has her own thread, I put it here.

she make a cover but she can make it in her own style, perfect and great!

Who is Maddi Jane??! And how does she get all those views? She is good, but there are other good singers that don't get even 1/1000th of the views.

I don't know for certain, but I think it started with her cover of Breakeven, a hugely popular song at the time and she got on the Ellen show very soon after the posting. That went viral I think. Since then, she just has loyal fans I guess that just watch everything she does. The other possibility is that she somehow has a team of several dozen people that click on each of her videos a hundred times a day.

Another thing I am not totally sure of, but I think maybe Maddi Jane and Mary Aragon are the most watched preteen singers on Youtube. That does not mean they are the best, but other elements of connections, timing and such just makes it that way in the weird world of online celebrity. They are both real good. Maddi Jane is almost a professional now and Mary Aragon had the Lady Gaga connection, but she is getting real good at the piano and her voice is quite strong now too.
