I'm expecting the day's coming. It will be so cool to hear them singing live. Great

(Partly from Wikipedia)
Les Petits Chanteurs de Saint-Marc (in English The Little Singers of Saint Marc) is a children's choir from France, founded in September 1986 by Nicolas Carries. It is a mixed unit composed of seventy-five to eighty school-aged children from ten to fifteen years old.

They are well known by people in Taiwan because of the movie "Les Choristes", for which they provided the vocals for the soundtrack. One of the soloists, Jean-Baptiste Maunier was chosen to play a lead role in the film.

I remember Rakugaki had ever mentioned about their single Un Geste on the blog! Well that's a very beautiful piece. Wink

For their coming to Taiwan, there will be an other version of Dans la cour des grands Smile
Here is a page about their tour in Taiwan from 4/30 to 5/6: http://www.arsformosa.com.tw/NDisplay.asp?Aid=511 (sorry for no English song list)

That's a good presentation ! Very Happy

Yes, they are a bit famous in France because of the movie "Les Choristes" OST. But, from this movie, Jean-Bapstiste Maunier was more famous than those Petits Chanteurs... Wink
If you like that kind of Petits Chanteurs, there's a lot of choirs with that name in France. One of the most famous is Les Petits Chanteurs à la Croix de Bois.

Yeah.
Les Petits Chanteurs à la Croix de Bois also tour in Taiwan every two or three years. I think they're more classical than St. Marc.
I ever heard their concert once in Tainan city, Taiwan.
That was a very good experience. Smile

Yes, Jean-Bapstiste Maunier is certainly the most famous because he didn't just act, but a really member/soloist of the choir. More than provided his voice as well as the other choir members, he presented the character who has an angelic voice just as himself did!

But Les choristes is the main reason that St. Marc became so well known to people outside France.

I positively think that there will also be really good members and soloists in the upcoming group as the former generation, Smile even though Jean-Bapstiste Maunier doesn't sing in the choir anymore.

Smile And the truth is, 2009 tour is the second time St. Marc comes to Taiwan.

I don't know if 2009 is a Taiwan-included tour year of Les Petits Chanteurs à la Croix de Bois; maybe not, they sings around the world.

I hope the tickets can be well sold in Taiwan; but hopefully there won't be too many young little listeners going to the concert, except they can behave well. pirat
