The youngest singer in the world (in Guinness Book) ! The made her first album at 3 and her 2nd at 5. She's from Romania.
I really love her voice. She's very young but sings better than some older singers. Her 2nd album is better than the 1st, with modern sounds and a veryyyyyy cute voice.

Jordy (Jordy Lemoine)
Jordy was a 4 yo french boy when he released his 1st big hit "Dur dur d'être bébé" (Hard to be a baby). He made 2 albums and came back as a teenager 2 or 3 years ago but had no success with his new single.
I never be a fan of him. He was not really cute and not a good singer.

Those 2 singers are not really 2 "real" kids, because the kids are changing but the names are still the same. But well, it's a project from Finland where 2 young kids (a boy and a girl, about 4 yo) are singing electro songs. The songs are really original and stay in the heard. I really love this band !!

When I first saw a video (Ghita) of Cleopatra about 2 years ago, I wasn't so excited about her singing as she was so very young, but I thought it was cute and very interesting that such a little girl was making an official music video. The youngest I had seen up to that time were probably Assol and Alina Grosu first videos.

However, with her second album, she is becoming quite enjoyable for me. I love these new videos by her these past few months. Thanks again Raku.

I haven't had a chance to really view many of these yet... sorry.
I'm a bit ashamed to admit it but I'm still on dial-up which is a bit slow with videos.
I also only have 256MB RAM and it's unfortunate but these thread with lots of video links eat up a LOT of RAM - about 100 MB for this thread already ...and some longer threads with more video links can take up 200-300 MB RAM (that goes into the paging file too and causes everything to go verrrry sloooow. I can only really afford to have one page open like that at a time.
...Maybe I should just invest in a new PC and broardband... but until then... it's slow going.

About the asians (chinese ?) videos, that's right there's a lot of very young singers in China and chinese languages countries, but they are often not very good singers, I think.

I was running out of time last night and wanted to get some posts done, but I was in a bit of a hurry. I will make a few brief comments to compliment what has been posted so far.

First of all, since Rakugaki did not suggest any guidelines or parameters, I kind of decided on my own that very young singers meant like maybe 6 and under. That is why I posted the Assol video because I believe she was 6 when she did that one. Anyone know for certain?

Thank you for your compliment. I go back a couple years with Rakugaki. I think I had known him online for about a year when he started the forum and he asked me how much of an interest I would have and then requested I help him launch it and keep it going strong. I made that commitment and it is fun for me. I just sometime have the problem of not having enough time to do all I want.

I think the Asian girls posted and the two videos that AdiesKids is offering are decent enough singers. I do not expect the same level of talent from a 3 to 5 year old as I would a 10 year old for example. Of course I have heard some 4, 5 and 6 year olds that sing better than many 10 year olds, but I am just saying in general what is my thinking and expectations.

Did anyone catch Kaitlyn Maher on America's Got Talent? She is/was four years old and she made it to the top 10. I must be honest and say that she does sing some notes a little flat, but she is close on those and she does have such a sweet voice, and I think she will become quite good in a short time if she keeps working at it. I think it is amazing for a 4 year old to even have the ear to mostly sing a song correct and she never forgets the words. She obviously sees everyone in the audience and she mentions knowing that "all of america" is watching her, but she doesn't really seem nervous. She is such a little charmer.

Yes, I know that even though the judges were quite impressed, she does need to do some maturing and training and gaining experience in hearing(and then singing) the right notes. She does alright though. I think if a study could be done, it would be determined that 99.9 percent or more of 4 year olds couldn´t do any better. I think it would have to be a child prodigy kind of thing or just a rare born talent thing anyway. I just think she is such a sweetheart and I think she will become quite good, even maybe in just a couple years. It is amazing also how she does not seem nervous and remembers all the lyrics.

I do not know for sure how old Christell is now, but I think maybe 9 or 10. I was guessing she was 5 in that video and if you read the comments, they seem to confirm my guess.

I do not like singers as young as this, remember how disgusted I was with Cleopatra's video when it came.
The first singer I think about though is Maria Figueroa from Spain, think she was 4 in this video.

Of course she is cute! It is just the whole setting with a 3 year old girl doing a videoclip, she is like a baby! That's all.
