Maybe everyone knows the song "D.A.N.C.E." by the electro band Justice. It was a big hit in 2007 !

This song use kids voices (from a London choir, I think).

And now, Universal Music France has just published on YouTube a song called "Stand on the word" by the band Keedz. Of course, everyone think it's to use the Justice trend... And of course it is.

Well I started this @ Amy's thread and I don't want the forum to get all messed up so I'll just start a threat about Miranda Cosgrove. She's an actress but she has recently recorded some songs for the soundtrack of " iCarly" where she plays the main character...

it includes like 29 or maybe more songs , but only 4 are performed by Miranda (and 3 of them are covers) and most of the tracks in the cd are just dialogs so don't buy the whole cd unless you're a huge ...

Since the success of Ilona Mitrecey in France, we had here a lot of 3D animated virtual singers. Most of them use kids voices (but some are sang by adults voices as Pigloo for example).

Some are good, some are not fabulous, but most of the time, we can't know who is the real singer. That's boring.

Voila 3 groupes issus de 3 pays diff�rents (Royaume-Uni, Canada (Qu�bec) et France) mais qui sont bas� sur le m�me concept : 3 gar�ons et 3 filles qui reprennent des morceaux pop ou des classiques de chorale (dit "treble") avec des voix de choristes.

Here is 3 groups from 3 different countries (UK, Canada & France) but based on the same concept : 3 boys and 3 girls who made covers of pop music or "treble" music with a choirs style of voice.

The 6yo french boy Arman Darbo was chosen to sing a video clip in 3 languages (chinese, french and english) for the chinese olympic games. His song "Un monde, un r�ve" is diffused now CCTV.

I saw he released a 4 songs mini album called "Mon r�ve de Chine", but I can't find more information about that.

But there's still a scandal about the song which was stolen to Philippe Richard...

I should have done this thread months ago. When I first did research on child singers back in 2003 and 2004, before Youtube and all, I discovered Aselin Debison. I loved her voice on her debut album titled Sweet Is The Melody at age 12 released in 2002 and then even after she changed her style and grew up a little and made another album at 15(writing and co-writing songs), I loved her still. Zouzounia (means "bugs" in Greek) are the first kids band in Greece, founded at 2000-2001. They were discovered by the ALTER Channel. As you'll see from the following videos, Zouzounia have MANY members aged from 4 to 12 ... They recorded God-knows-how-many CDs... They recorded some DVDs too...

For those who like child singers (I wonder if there are any reading here ), will love this show. Tenavat�hti was a singing competition show in Finland on TV in 1990 to 1995. After that, it changed its name to Karuselli and went on for another 4 years. Over the years, there were hundreds of kids participating, and some of them were also very good. A few are still active as singers but none really famous.
