We already talked about them here or ther, but I must make a thread about all this singers.

DM-Dancers (or DM, for Dance & Music) are a group of girls from Norway. They are singers and dancers. They're making a lot of shows in the country. The creator of the project is Ann Cecilie Tangen.
As pureNRG or MissionSix in the USA, they are christians singers.

The members are :

One of my best album ever is the one by Emeline & Sunniva Gulbrandsen from DM, Seven and HjertePalass 2008.

They release a very good album and they are working on the second now.

And of course, one of the famous member of DM is Lisa Børud, one of the the most famous young singer of Norway.
She released 4 albums, a best album and a DVD.

But I have to correct you. Lisa is not Norway's most famous child singer! Both Malin and Celine is much more popular among the kids!
It isn't really a duet album it is a christmas album where the whole family is singing. But most of the songs are sung by Lisa, and Thomas is their father yes Thomas and his sister Linda and brother Ole was a child singer group as kids whom I loved when I was younger

Why do they have to have so many names? Why can't they just be DM-dancers? Or Seven? or Hjertepalass?

Well... that's different groups with different producers and composers... That's just funny to see the same singers on it. Emeline & Sunniva and the Børud family are everywhere.

It is funny. I usually don't like religious music, but I really like the singing and music of PurnNRG and Lea Capelli in the U.S and many of the girls in DM Dancers and Seven are top favorites for me. It helps with these singers that I usually cannot understand what they are singing. I especially like Celine and Malin, Emeline and Sunniva and Lisa Børud after she got a little older(don't like her as much when she first started). Great thread here. I love it when a lot of good quality photos get posted along with a few nice videos and names of the various singers (when it is a group). This is one of the best threads we have here at the forum. Let's keep adding to this one sometimes. It certainly seems these girls are quite busy, so new stuff should pop up. Let's all keep an eye out for that, OK?! Great job Rakugaki and everyone else!

I don't think Celine, Malin or Linn Therese are singing religious songs. I'm not sure but I don't thinks so.

Yes Rakugaki, maybe on their solo stuff, they do not do overtly religious songs or do not do much of it. I don't know either. I was thinking that all these Girlsingers from Norway do recordings and performances together, such as with Seven or DM Dancers, and I was referring to these group projects mostly and the Børud sisters I guess.

No they do not have religious texts apart from some of the Christmas songs of course.

Can you introduce yourself and DM-Dancers ?
My full name is Ann Cecilie Tangen. Everyone calls me AC.
I’m 20 and I love dance, music and kids.
DM is a group of talented dancers, singers and gymnasts.

Why have you created DM-Dancers ?
I created DM-dancers because I knew that kids love dancing, and they love music.
And I wanted to gather a bunch of girls, train them to be better dancers, and then let them perform and do what they love.
I believe that God wanted me to do this, and I followed my heart. The girls love DM, and that makes me happy!

So you have a message on it ?
“We love singing and dancing for the one who created these talents in us. We really want to inspire other people through our dancing. And if we can make a difference in someone's life, then that's what we need to be doing.”

Tell us more about the composers of the songs.
The composer of our songs is Ronny Janssen from Waterfalls Studios.
He has produced our songs, and he made the music. He is awesome!
I wrote the lyrics by the way..

Which are the project for DM in future ?
We made a DVD in 2007, with music videos and some fun.
But we would love to make a new DVD with music videos of our songs. And maybe with some “learn the steps” videos.
But first, we are planning to make an album.
At least, it’s our dream.
